Welcome to CapyCam!

Enjoy a relaxing capybara photo hunt with zero timers and zero stress. Snap photos, collect likes, and unlock new mechanics.

What to do in the game:

  • ๐Ÿ“ธ Take Photos: Catch capybaras in your lens. The more capys in frame, the higher your combo multiplier.
  • ๐ŸŒ€ Merge: Snap a photo of two identical capybaras together, and they will merge into a rarer species.
  • ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ Vibe System: Collect likes flying out of your capybaras. If you stop shooting for a bit, the Vibe bar will charge up a juicy bonus with a huge multiplier.
  • ๐Ÿ“ฆ Open Capyboxes: Save up Capy-Tokens and buy boxes (from Cardboard to Diamond). Buying boxes levels them up, permanently buffing the drop rates for new capybaras.
  • ๐ŸŒณ Max the Skill Tree: Spend your resources to upgrade Luck, shutter reload speed, photo size, photocard limits, and passive income.

Turn on your camera! ๐Ÿ’–

really good funny game!

very cool

Honestly this was so chill. The idle stuff is nice too. Definitely made me smile, good luck with the pitching!

this looks almost exactly the same as Snap the Cat? but you haven't credited them anywhere?

Hard to understand how to play here..

you quickly unlock all the updates and have nothing to do after ...

Yep, this is the jam build, meant for a 15-minute playthrough. I'm working on a post-jam version now with new mechanics!

i may have broken it. its super fun but umm i made a WALL of capybaras...now the wall-baras wont move any clsoer to the middle and umm i kinda maybe dont knwo how i did that :D (wall is on each side of the screen)

i brokened it worse chat. :D the page is now unresposive, turns out trying to make a BIGGER capybara wall was not the sartest idea...

OMG, I have no idea how you even did this :D This looks so funny

It looks like fun but I don't get why the whole description is in English while the game itself isn't. I have no clue what the upgrades do. :-)

Sorry about that! In the Game Jam build, I forgot to enable the language menu despite having the translations ready. It's fixed now: you can manually switch languages, and the game also auto-detects your OS language

Really great game! Will this turn into a full release? Would love to follow along on this journey!

Thanks so much! I'm currently doing some post-jam polish to get the game ready for pitching. Hope it goes well!
